Who Am I?
Hello! My name is Kevin Ringstaff, and I am the Founder and CEO of PetCloud, GrievingAtWork, and Healing-Roadmap. I spend my days talking and grief, and educating people on how to support friends, family, and co-workers through their grief. Mostly though, my daily job is to listen to the stories of love and loss by other people.
I recently moved to San Francisco to build and grow these companies and communities to create a place where anyone, anywhere can come and share their grief and get support from others who really do understand the pain and anguish we go through when we lose someone we love.
Through my studies and counseling over the years, I’ve learned quite a lot about grief. It’s safe to say that as a society, we all have a tendency to hold on to grief. It’s awkward and uncomfortable to talk about.
I’ve created a number of products and companies designed to support and educate people all over the world on grief. Here are a couple of my projects. Visit my website to see the all (or at least the public ones).
Grief support for the loss of a pet. Free online support groups every Sunday at 3pm and 6pm PST.
Training programs to educate management on how to better support their employees as they return from bereavement leave.
Although no amount of classroom training can replace in-person experience, I have several certifications for grief support, I belong to many grief support groups, and as a student of grief, I am always reading and studying to increase my ability to help those who are deeply grieving.
